Terms of use

Draft for review. These are plain-English starting points, not legal advice. Before taking payments, check them, and consider having them reviewed.

These terms cover your use of snapt'in: the app at https://app.snapt.in and this website. snapt'in is run by Guy Smithson, 5 Hope Street, Knaresborough, HG5 8BG ("we"). By using snapt'in, you agree to these terms.

Your account

You sign in with a link sent to your email address. Keep access to that email secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You must be at least 13 to use snapt'in.

Your recipes

The recipes, notes, photos and plans you add stay yours. You give us permission to store them and to process them as needed to run snapt'in: for example, to show them to the people you share a box with, and to read recipes from links and photos you give us.

Only add content you have the right to use. A recipe you import from a website or a book is for your own personal use. Don't use snapt'in to republish other people's recipes publicly.

Shared boxes

When you share a box, everyone in it can add, change and delete its recipes and plans. The owners of a box decide who is in it. Only invite people you trust with that box.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse snapt'in. That includes trying to get around its limits, accessing other people's data, overloading it, or using it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.

Plans and payments

The Standard plan is free. Premium is a paid subscription, billed monthly or yearly until you cancel. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders, and Paddle provides all customer service enquiries and handles returns. Paddle's buyer terms apply to your purchase.

You can cancel at any time from the app. Premium then lasts until the end of the period you've paid for. See refunds.

We may change prices. We'll tell you before a change affects your subscription, and you can cancel before it does.

Availability and changes

We work to keep snapt'in running, but can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, add or remove features. Recipes read from links and photos are produced automatically: check amounts, temperatures and allergens before you rely on them.

Liability

snapt'in is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses, or for losses caused by inaccurate recipe content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, or your rights as a consumer.

Ending

You can stop using snapt'in at any time, and ask us to delete your account by emailing info@snapt.in. We may end or suspend accounts that break these terms.
